This policy explains how Titan Trading Company Metals ("TITCO Metals", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use this website or contact our trade desk. It covers our obligations under the EU/UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and the CCPA where applicable.

  • Technical logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) required to operate the site securely.
  • Cookie-based analytics data — only when you consent (see our cookie policy).

2. Lawful bases for processing

  • Contract & pre-contract — to respond to your inquiry and issue quotes.
  • Legitimate interests — running, securing and improving the website.
  • Consent — non-essential cookies and any marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation — tax, customs and trade record retention.

3. How we use your information

  • To answer your inquiry and issue commercial quotations.
  • To manage active shipments, contracts and documentation.
  • To comply with export/import, customs and accounting law.
  • To protect the site against fraud and abuse.

4. Sharing your information

We share data only with parties that need it to deliver our service: shipping and customs partners, inspection agencies (e.g. SGS, Cotecna, Bureau Veritas) when a consignment requires third-party inspection, banks and payment providers, professional advisors, and infrastructure providers that host this site and our internal systems. All operate under confidentiality and data-processing terms.

5. International transfers

As an international supplier operating across 40+ countries, your data may be transferred outside your country of residence. Where required by GDPR/UK GDPR we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

6. Data retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from last contact. Executed trade documentation is retained for the period required by tax, customs and accounting law (typically 7–10 years). Technical logs are rotated within 90 days.

  • access, correct or delete your personal data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;

8. Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and vendor due diligence — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
